Cloth design by Fadges Koncept for Teach you Dance Video.
Just yesterday, i had the chance to speak to J.Tina, the Female crooner of Take over the World and ABC love who has passion for capturing the audience through her strong lyrical contents who says 2face and Waje are the A-list artistes she would love to work with in the industry. over the past few years, she has been performing at different venues around the country. She recently worked on a music video which would be hitting the market soon.
in this Interview, she spoke with us about the life, passions and favorites.

★FW: what are your names?
Onyeabo Justina

★FW: And how would u describe yourself as an artiste?
I am a hiphop, R&B, and Dance Hall artist. A graduate of Business Administration, LASU 2011. Born and brought up in Lagos state. Though from Ana-Nri Local Govt area, Enugu state. Been in the music industry since 2005.

★FWwhat inspired you to Choose music as a career?
Music has always been my number 1 passion. So taking it as a career was never a big deals for me. I could remember rite form primary school to my graduating days; I was always in a music society or a choir. Even when my vocal wasn't strong. I was not a born singer as many would claim. But I groomed my voice and got better over d years. Because this has always been my passion, it is what I find fulfillment in doing. Music helps me express myself better when word fails. I am sure u understands. In music I feel am really taking ova d world. In 2010, I came out with a single ABC Luv, which received massive airplays. And d video as well was shot in 2013, I dropped another single- Take Over d World, which really took over the music scene. The video and audio was well promoted.

Wow! The take over the world single was indeed massive… I like it "And u may be taking over the music world"

★FW: Are u presently signed to a record label or u chose to thread on an independent part?
I am not yet signed to a record label but am working presently with a team, Country Flag Music, and we are working on the Brand 'J-tina' for now.

★FW: Is J-Tina the first artiste the team is working on?
Yeah

★FW: Have u collaborated with any 'A-list' artiste or are u presently working on a song with any?
Yeah, I have songs I collaborated with other good Naija artists. Let me not say 'top' artists. But they are good. I did shows with Nnena, the lady in Mode9's cry. Also a Rap wit Tony Young, the guy behind Country Flag music and I am working presently with Kesh Ofuobi on a song. And there are lots of other artists I have collaborated with. Just look out for the album because it would b dropping before the year ends by d grace of God.

I really can't wait to start dancing...

★FW: Tell me, if u had to work with anyone in d industry, who would it be and why?
If I have to work with an 'A List' Nigerian artist I will say 2face and Waje. These people inspire me a lot when I listen to them sing. They take u to their own world when they sing and that is the beauty of music. Being able to express yourself and let people feel what you are feeling.

I must admit, u have good lyrical preference.
Thank you :)

★FW: Have any of these people influence the lyrics in any of your songs?
Not really, but I will say listening to them sing makes me want to be a better musician. Groom my voice and have good and positive lyrics.

★FW: Tell us something little about your embarrassing moments, favorite food, and silly obsessions.
Hahahha. My embarrassing moments has to do with my first time on d red carpet many years back. I was asked about the occasion and funny enough I didn't do my research very well so I said d wrong tins. D interviewer didn't correct me but just then my eyes went 2 d banner and I was like, gush! What a mess. I couldn’t look d interviewer in the eyes after that and I kept praying they never aired that clip; my favorite food includes Rice, salad, moi-moi, fried egg, dodo etc. Hmmm! I love costumes jewelries a lot I’m obsessed with looking good. You know- looking good Is good business. I could spend my last card to have a taste of popcorn and cakes, and I love going 2 d beach a lot.
J-tina: Lest I forget, J-tina is not just a music artist, but also a Presenter, wit Thumbs up Africa TV, a Model, Actress and a pattern fashion designer.

★FW: Can u tell us about your relationship, as u r not married, are you single and ready to mingle or is there someone we should expect u to walk with down the isle?
-Hmmm! Yes am single but not searching.

★FW: R u saying you are not involved with any man?
-I just said am not searching, that should tell u am taken. ;)

★FW: Wow! He must be a lucky man
-If u say so

★FW: Can u tell u a little about him?
-Am sorry I can't. All I can say is his d best man in d whole wide world. =D

★FW: We are aware that you recently shot a music video; can u tell us about it?
Yeah! I shot a video for the new single I want to drop this year titled Teach U Dance. It is a Naija Dance track and d video was actually costumed by your Costume department- Fadges Koncept. And shot by T.Banks of thumbs up Africa. It is a great video to watch out for.

★FW: So like when should we be expecting the release of d video?
-Very soon

★FW: If u weren't doing music right now, what other job would you have chosen?
-If I wasn't doing music right now, I would still be in the entertainment world. Entertainment is my life. I still do other things like modeling, acting, and am a fashion designer.

★FW: you are the 'bomb! Nice one you got.

★FW: Any last word for our readers who are your fans and also for even people out there with huge talent but constrained?
-Yeah! For readers with the zeal for d entertainment world, they should keep it real. Entertainment Zone is a competitive world so if you want a stake in it, u must b unique and learn to stand out of the crowd. Be yourself and never give up.
